Description This module is composed of the P71D600 Java Card Operating Platform (JCOP) by NXP Semiconductors, running the OpenFIPS201 applet by Makina. OpenFIPS201 is a flexible implementation of the NIST Personal Identity Verification (FIPS 201) card interface and provides authentication, digital signature and encryption capabilities. The approved product is intended to be used in contact and contactless smart cards, as well as for embedding in multi-chip environments as an auxiliary cryptographic element.
