| Description | The Oracle Acme Packet VME is a virtualized software module that runs in a hypervisor-based environment on commodity server hardware. The Oracle Acme Packet VME can be configured to provide secure and reliable IP communications as a Session Border Controller or other Session Delivery products. This module can be deployed in either service provider or enterprise environments. The module performs protocol processing and other services such as encrypted signaling and media via TLS, IPSec, and SRTP on its host processor and without the use of external hardware assist. The module utilizes the exact same software as its appliance counterparts but in a virtualized environment. |
