Version 1.2, dated 21 August 2008

Assurance Continuity Maintenance Report:

Changes were made to the validated Peripheral Sharing Switch (PSS) For Human Interface Devices
Version 1.1, dated 25 July 2007. These changes generated the Peripheral Sharing Switch (PSS) For
Human Interface Devices Version 1.2, dated 21 August 2008. The changes reflected updates to various
portions of the protection profile that were necessary based on the release of Common Criteria 3.1. These
changes were reviewed by the Common Criteria Evaluation and Validation Scheme (CCEVS) Senior
Technical Advisor and found to have Functional and Assurance equivalence as the previously evaluated
Common Criteria version.

Changes to PP:
The following areas were changed in the new version of the Protection Profile:
1. Conformance claim added
2. FDP_IFF.1 to reflect CC version 3.1
3. FMT_MSA.1 to reflect CC version 3.1
4. Added FMT_SMF.1 as a dependency of FMT_MSA.1
5 FDP_ETC.1 to reflect CC version 3.1
6 FDP_ITC.1 to reflect CC version 3.1
