Assurance Continuity Maintenance Report:

Changes were made to the validated U.S. Government Firewall Protection Profile for Medium Robustness
Environments 1.0. These changes generated the U.S. Government Firewall Protection Profile for Medium
Robustness Environments Version 1.1. The changes reflected updates to various portions of the protection
profile that were necessary based on the release of Common Criteria 3.1. Changes included new Security
Assurance Requirements (SAR)s and updates to the cryptographic requirements to include the latest
standards determined by the government cryptographic organization. These changes were reviewed by the
Common Criteria Evaluation and Validation Scheme (CCEVS) Senior Technical Advisor and found to have
Functional and Assurance equivalence as the previously evaluated Common Criteria version.

Changes to PP:
The following areas were changed in the new version of the Protection Profile:
1. Security Assurance Requirements updated to CC version 3.1 revision 2 dated September 2007
2. Cryptographic Requirements
3. Typographical errors
